The Constitution
As I said before, I intentionally chose to support the ideological framework created for our society, enumerated in the US Constitution and The Bill of Rights. It allows each of us to be free to choose our own moral “Code” while retaining other specific rights, hopefully without fear of persecution. I have voluntarily served in the military and have sworn an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution of the United States of America.
Our fore fathers created “The United States of America” as a “Constitutional Republic” and they intentionally avoided creating a Democracy, (see the Federalist Papers). The word “Democracy” does not appear anywhere in the Constitution or in the Bill of Rights. The Constitution was intentionally and specifically created as a “Republic” and it grants equal status to the several states. The Constitution also specifies three branches providing for a balance of governmental power. This Union was not intended to be, nor is it, a Democracy, although it is routinely mischaracterized as a Democracy. Each state in this Union, retains it’s own state laws and governance. Any powers that are not specifically granted to the Federal Government by the Constitution are to be absolutely retained by the states, for the people of those states. The only office holder elected for the United States, by the entire country, is the President of these United States. That vote is by the majority of each state and voted by state, not by the majority of the country. This structure is a Republic not a Democracy.
I believe our Constitution and Bill of Rights, is the absolute and supreme “Law of the Land”, and that law is based on the Judeo Christian belief system. It not only has it been legislated, it has been ratified and codified into law. If anyone wishes to change the Constitution there are provisions included for legitimate change. It is treason to intentionally subvert the Constitution.
I oppose tyranny. I oppose oppression, both by the people and by the proletariat. I oppose Marxist Communism, Globalism and all other fascist forms of governance. I oppose calling our “Constitutional Republic” a Democracy. I oppose any and all attempts to subvert or misrepresent the “Constitution of the United States”.
I support a capitalistic economy, ownership of private property and free trade between the states. I support the Federal Government protecting the states both militarily and economically. The Government’s primary obligation is to protect the citizenry, so I support a strong Military and peace through strength.
I support the “Judeo Christian Ethic” at the core of the US Constitution. I support freedom and justice for all. I believe and support the Constitutional position that our Rights come from a higher authority, (God). Our founding fathers understood that it was necessary to recognize that our freedom and our rights come from a higher authority than man and therefore those rights cannot be taken away by man, (read the Declaration of independence and the Federalist Papers). I believe our founding fathers were far more educated (knowledgeable), than many of our current day “educated” scholars.
The founding fathers intentionally chose to have a “Higher Authority” within our Constitutional Structure. The founders of this nation recognized that a moral authority is necessary in order for truth to exist. A moral authority is also necessary in order for rights to exist. Without a moral authority there will be no accountability and no liberty and justice for all.
They realized that if you are secular, (i.e., you deny the existence of a higher power, deny God), then anything is permissible. If you deny truth then there is no morality, if there is no morality then children can become prey, and thereafter anything is permissible. A Civilized Nation will be judged by how it treats the most vulnerable, the aged, the unborn and the children. We will be answerable for our behavior before our creator. Let’s make sure those around us are not hurting the most innocent and most vulnerable in our society. (source unknown)
I believe our Constitution and the Republic it created have proven to be the best form of government in the history of the world. We should strive to hold it.
Do you also subscribe to this belief? Lots of people living in this country do not subscribe, yet they vote. Let me know what you believe or if you have anything to add. I am interested in how we have so many in this country who do not agree and wish to destroy and or transform this country into some other form of government. As I have said before doing intentional damage is not “well intentioned” and therefore is evil.
